An Ohio church youth camp was at PMSS for its eighth summer.

Youth Self-Help Employment Program.

The Public Health Department held a weekly clinic in Pine Mountain facilities.

The Conley family was on leave as Vernon acquired a degree in counselling. Mildred Mahoney acted as Head Teacher in his absence.
