…preserve documents of SIA members. There was serious discussion as to whether PMSS materials should be made available, and what controls should be kept.

M. Elizabeth Culbreth, Knoxville, & Rev. Badgett Dillard, Louisville, were added to the Board of Trustees as Berea representatives.

The Pine Mountain Story” 1913 – 1980, a comprehensive history of PMSS, was published, to sell for $1.00 per copy.

Frontier Nursing Service opened a Health Service in the Clinic, July 2. The Appalachian Fund contributed $3200.00 for renovation of the Clinic Building.

Arrangements were made for January term students to receive Berea College credit.

Miller Organ Co., Louisville, was selected to rebuild the Holtkamp organ at the Chapel.
