PRESIDENT [William J.] HUTCHINS OF BEREA VISITS PINE MOUNTAIN – Gave talk on being a good citizen and pilgrim and, with Mrs. Hutchins and Pruitt Smith (head plumber at Berea), spent the weekend at PMSS; seniors and post-graduates met Hutchins later at Zande House to hear about Berea College.

PINE MOUNTAIN SHARES WITH CHINA – The Student Council elected a committee, with Burton Creech as chairman, to college money for “sufferers in China.”

TRY-OUT COURSE OFFERED COMMUNITY STUDENTS – Versa Griffith of Little Laurel, Sally Boggs and Marion Cress of Turkey Fork took part in this 2-week exploratory course at PMSS.
