1928          Death of Ethel de Long Zande ; Plan for electricity

1929          Plans for electricity underway ; Power House built; Cabin at Line Fork                     is re-built

1930          Line Fork Settlement fire destroys Cabin ; Crayfish in reservoir;                                Agriculture added to curriculum; Co-ops studied; Print Shop

1931          Glyn Morris assumes Director position ; Reservoir issues (crayfish);                         Uncle John Fiddler dies;

1932          Katherine Pettit, founder, retires ; Midsummer Night’s Dream play;                         Mikado musical;

1933         Testing of students is begun; Mikado; Lumbering down Greasy and                        on Line Fork; Far House Girl’s Mummer’s Play; Pinafore musical;

1934         Diesel Plant begun; Student Counselor added to staff; Insurance                              instituted for PMSS staff; Guests Doris Ulmann and John Jacob Niles;                      singing group to WJZ Radio City Music Hall; Pinafore performed.
