PUBLICATIONS PMSS Calendars 1978

The 1978 PMSS Calendar is a calendar that pays homage to nature and to the Environmental Education program that began in the early 1970s. The natural setting suggests that the artist had an association with the EE program but the drawing lacks the delicate hand and lyrical style of Mary Rogers‘ drawings.

The scene depicts a small figure seated with back to the viewer in a forest of slender trees. While the artist is probably not Rogers, the artist appears to have been influenced by her work. The composition reflects her earlier ones which often used radiant light at the center of the composition.

Printed on yellow paper and comprised of a single-fold card with image and greeting on the front and the calendar inside the card. The inscription on page 1 reads:
