LEDGER # 1925-1931 Library Accession Ledger. [Anonymous Notation in Ledger: “Note: This Accession Book was used before the library was re-cataloged during the summer of 1940. Notation in pencil indicates a partial check of the accession record against the books and the date checked. Some books were found accessioned twice and some not at all, so a new book was ordered and all books [in the library] began to be accessioned over again.”]
MARY GOULD DAVIS was a VERY INTERESTING and an important donor to the PMSS Library in its earliest years. The ledgers provide insight into titles that may no longer be within the monograph collections following dramatic reducton in the monograph collections at Pine Mountain in the early 2020s..
