GALLERY – 050 PHOTOGRPAHS FN Occupations and Homes singles
68 photogrphic images of life in the Pine Mountain valley. Includes scenes of logging, farming and visiting of homes and the making of maple syrup and cane sorghum. Board of Trustee member, Barry Bingham,Sr. owner of the Louisville Courier Journal and his wife Mary, were among members of the Pine Mountain Settlement Board of Trustee who visited several families and some were photographically documented.
A photo narrative by Marian Kingman of the Frona Cooper home are included at the end of the 050 PHOTOGRAPH series. Frona, a student at Pine Mountain Settlement, lived at Little Laurel in a remote and beautiful setting. Frona, her home, and family are represented in the photographs.
