An Ohio church youth camp was at PMSS for its eighth summer. The local Boy Scout troop held its camp at Pine Mountain.

School breakfasts added to Hot Lunch Program.

Dramatic presentations: “Ferdinand the Bull” with paper bag puppets, and “Rumpelstiltskin” by the 5th & 6th grades.
A unit of U. S. State Department foreign service trainees met at PMSS, to observe “grass roots” efforts.
