Burton Rogers writes about last year’s need for more class space and the current improvements. He uses the “Discovery Shelf” as an example, for which there is now space.

“Last winter [the teachers] dreamed and measured and drew plans and came up with a scheme to move partitions in two buildings,” doubling the space for each class. … “During the summer the maintenance crew moved partitions and installed plumbing.”

Also, Rogers, after three years of drought, tells of the effort to reconstruct the mountain-side reservoir to assure an unfailing water supply. He describes the undertaking that was completed in two months.

Due to these extra-budgetary expenses, Rogers states that the school is operating with a deficit and asks for assistance in removing it.

Cordially yours,
[signed] Burton Rogers, Director
