MARY BLACKBURN Staff
Bookkeeper, 1919-1920
Mary Blackburn came to Pine Mountain in 1919 as a bookkeeper for the Settlement School. The February 1919 issue of Notes announces that “Mary Blackburn of Cincinnati comes to PMSS this month as bookkeeper. She has several years experience and is an expert in her profession.”
Miss Blackburn only stayed for a brief time, leaving in 1920 according to Notes, March 1920. She was replaced by Constance Sheltman of Louisville.
It is not known where Miss Blackburn went after Pine Mountain, but her last known address according to the PMSS staff directory was Hudson Avenue, Evanston, Cincinnati, Ohio.
