HUBERT HADLEY Correspondence, 1929-1939

Hubert Hadley Correspondence displays images of letters, dated 1929 to 1939, to and from the Director of Pine Mountain Settlement School who served for one year, 1930-1931. Hubert Hadley’s term was just prior to that of Glyn Morris who succeeded him as PMSS Director and stayed for nearly ten years. Much of the correspondence in his file is with his successor, as he was working not far away at Carcassonne Community Center in Letcher County, Kentucky.
