Schedules are always a part of any institutional program. The educational schedule was unusually complex during the Boarding School years as it had to include classroom education schedules, work schedules, and service schedules. The schedules of staff were equally complex. Many of the teachers served as Housemothers and had schedules that carried them into the evenings and early mornings. Housemothering added to the complexity and load of many of the staff, especially the women. Scheduling was always high on the list of faculty discussions.
