MARIAN KINGMAN PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM

This album is a large collection of photographs in an album of 99 pages.  Gathered from various sources the album represents the years she served on the staff at Pine Mountain Settlement School from 1920 until the mid-1930’s. The album graphically details daily life at the School as well as in the surrounding community. The 99 page album is bound in a loose-leaf fashion with boards covered with mountain homespun woven at the School. The digital album is presented in multiple parts as each page often contains more than two – three photographs, creating large galleries. The two sections on this page contain the whole pages with all photographs. Follow the links to view the individual photographs as separate images IN PARTS I-VI . The images associated with this album have not been modified for emulsion shift or other wear and tear, but are presented as they were scanned.  [Labeling of items is in process]
