The following general views of Pine Mountain Settlement School in 004 II General Views of PMSS  were taken across decades. Many of the color photographs focus on the seasons at the School and include scenes of deep snow, Fall color, springtime flowers.

The earlier photographs generally fall at the beginning of the range. The bulk of the photographs span the years between the 1920s and the 1940s and represent the work of various photographers. Selected photographs were copied by Berea College in 1983 and copies of a selected group of 31 photographs are on file in the Berea College Library.
