Rev. WILLIS H. BUTLER Board
Trustee 1913-1915
Dr. Willis H. Butler, a clergyman from Massachusetts, was among the first members of the PMSS Board of Trustees (General Advisory Board), serving from 1913 to 1915. He was a deacon in the Old South Society Church in Boston, a historic United Church of Christ congregation organized in 1669.

Willis Howard Butler was born on October 3, 1873, in Bangor, Maine. to Henry Hersey Butler and Inez (Lunt) Butler. In 1898, he married Mary Helen Wales. They had at least two children, Barbara L. Butler and Virginia Wales Butler.
Rev Willis Howard Butler died on October 22, 1930, at the age of 57, and was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Penobscot, Maine.
